Regent’s American College London (RACL) at Regent’s University London was opened in 1994, with an estimated 400 students attending each year. Within that number, those matriculating come from roughly 65 different countries around the world, with some taking classes as part of the school’s exchange program and others having RACL affiliations.

A merger of sorts is behind the vision of the school, with the best facets of both the British and American concepts of higher education represented. The focus in this school is highlighted in the area of liberal arts. However, the overall range of other aspects of the curriculum deals with areas such as politics, international relations, the media and management.

At both the undergraduate and graduate levels, the particular segments represented include psychology, fashion and design, along with film. There are also a number of short courses available to the student body.

Prior to 2007, the name of the school was the British American College London and was the result of a partnership with Webster College in the United States.
