First opened in 1980, the Institut supérieur européen de gestion group may be better known by its acronym, the ISEG Group. The English translation is the Advanced European Institute of Management, with the school actually a combination of two schools that are focused on business instruction, especially in the area of entrepreneurship.
A 2014 merger brought together ISEG schools that focus on different areas. One zeroes in on the marketing and communication aspects of the business world, making sure to establish relationships with media and specific agencies along the way. Meanwhile, the business and finance school makes the effort to view things from an international perspective in the areas of innovation and interactive management.
Instruction of an estimated 4,500 students on an annual basis takes place at the seven different schools that now make up ISEG. All of the campuses are located within France, including the original in Paris, though no new campus has been added since the inclusion of Lyon in 1990. The others are located in Bordeaux, Lille, Nantes, Strasbourg and Toulouse.
Each of the two schools offer degrees that will involve five years worth of instruction and allow students to absorb contemporary aspects of the aforementioned areas.
