The IESEG School of Management is currently in its second half-century of operation after opening the first of its two campuses in the city of Lille in 1964. It wouldn’t be until 2008 that the campus in Paris would open, with that branch focused on creating more awareness with both students and the companies that call the French capital home.
Currently, close to 5,000 students are matriculating at IESEG, with over 40 percent of international students. That focus on bringing in different nationalities was the impetus for the Paris opening, a strategy that continues to develop with students from 98 different countries learning from the school’s instructors.
Due to the 262 partnerships with other schools that can be found in 66 different countries, nearly 20 percent of the IESEG student population is taking part in exchange programs. In addition, by connecting with roughly 2,500 international businesses, an estimated 860 students are able to complete an internship with a company.
The school has more than 700 professors among its faculty, with over 200 of those teaching on either a full-time or visiting basis. The school’s network currently has an estimated 6,000 alumni that can be found all over the world.
