ESC Bretagne Brest has been around since 1962 and currently instructs between 800 and 900 students during the course of an academic year. Located in Brest, the institution is also known as The Graduate School of Management of Brittany and focuses on seven different areas of business instruction.
The classes are taught in both French and English, with the school’s support largely coming from the local chamber of commerce and the industries within the city. Those industries are able to take advantage of the research that’s conducted, along with the Executive Education programs the school offers.
Approximately 10 percent of the students come from other countries, though all students have access to what’s simply known as the Business Center. In addition, the Business Incubator and Corporate Relations department is set up for students to transition into the business world once they graduate.
The school has undergone a series of changes over the past few years. In 2013, it became one-fourth of what was known as France Business School. However, just two years later, the merger between those four schools came to an end and ESC Bretagne Brest subsequently decided to forge a new path by becoming the Brest Business School.
